Oil and Gas: Group partners NOA on protection of retailers’ right

The National Association of Surface Tank Oil and Gas Retailers of Nigeria (NASTOGRN) has expressed her preparedness to partner National Orientation Agency (NOA) in the October 12th, 2024 statewide sensitization programme in Anambra State.

The program is being tinkered to promote and protect the retailers rights in oil and gas business in the country.

The National President and BOT Chairman of the association, Dr. Okotete Marcus revealed this during a solidarity visit to Anambra State Director of NOA, Mr.Edozie Ajaegbu.

Dr.Okotete noted that his group has gotten approval letter from the Director-general(DG) of NOA, Dr. Lanre Issa Onilu for the sensitization programme in the seven hundred and seventy- seven local government areas of country.

He said that the Directors of DSS, Fire Service, ICPC, Anambra State Commissioner of Police and top government officials are expected to grace the occasion slated to hold on 12th October, 2024.

Dr.Okotete said that the association is committed to promoting and protecting the interests of the retailers in the oil and gas industry in the country, adding that the bigwigs in the industry were making things hard for lower ones in the industry to flourish in the business.

He added that it is the duty of the association to sensitize the people to better understand the gains drivable in the oil and gas business in the country, especially in the area of marketing the product.

The president of NASTOGRN noted that many Nigerians have quit the business because of the difficulties in acquiring the product, he however assured that the leadership of association is ready to assist anybody who wants to invest in oil gas business to obtain licence at a very low cost.

Anambra State Director of NOA, Mr Ajaegbu while thanking his guests for their visit said that the presentation from the NASTOGRN boss has helped throw more light on oil and gas business, especially its multiple benefits.

He assured that NOA will partner with NASTOGRN in the onerous task of educating Ndi-Anambra and environs on everything they needed to know about the numerous benefits drivable in the oil and gas business.
