North-central APC elders back Governor Sule, endorse Ganduje as N’Chairman

The North-central All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Forum has commended the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule for his role in restoring peace to the party in the region.

The forum specifically applauded the recent courtesy visit of Governor Sule to the APC national headquarters where he met with the party’s national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and discussed interest of the North-Central zone.

The Governor had visited Ganduje at the weekend and warned critics of APC National Chairman against distractions, saying the Ganduje-led National Working Committee (NWC) was doing a great job for the party.

In a statement signed Monday in Abuja by the former President of the Senate and Chairman, North Central APC Elders Forum, Senator Ameh Ebute, described Governor Sule’s visit to Ganduje as as a rightful intervention.

“We are happy that Governor A.A sule is leading the North Central geo-political zone to reposition the party for maximum performance.

“The forum however thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Chairman of our party, His Excellency, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for resolving the political crisis which hitherto bedeviled Benue APC. The dissolution and constitution of the Caretaker Committee in Benue has restored peace to both the party and governance in the State.”

Ebute urged all APC governors of the region to emulate Governor Sule in visiting the National Chairman of the party to further cement thw relationship with the APC leadership at the center.

“While applauding the Abdullahi Umar Ganduje led National working committee for the establishment of the National Progressives Institute, the Forum task Ganduje to include the North Central zone in the leadership of the Institute which is about to be unveil by the party in few days time.

“We are committed to supporting anything that will be beneficial to the north central people using the governing APC to attract development to our zone.”
