The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has congratulated the Vice President, His Excellency, Sen. Kashim Shettima GCON, on the occasion of his 58th birthday on September 2, 2024.
Prince Audu, in a heartfelt congratulatory message to the Vice President, which was issued by his Special Assistant Media, Lizzy Okoji, on Monday, September 2, 2024, described the Vice President as a momentous proponent of the realisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Administration.
The Minister lauded the Vice President, an astute economist and banker who held several high-ranking executive positions in the banking sector before entering politics for his unprecedented role in the economic recovery and stability of the country.
He also described the Vice President as a true democrat and peacemaker who at several times brokered peace between wrangling political factions, individuals, and institutions, also commending his efforts in restoring peace in Borno State, once the epicentre of the Boko Haram insurgency while he was governor of the state.
“Your Excellency sir, on this special day, I join the millions of people across the world, Nigerians, family and friends, to celebrate you on this auspicious occasion of your 58th birthday.
“We celebrate the remarkable achievements you have garnered over the years; we commend your contributions to the development, peace, and progress of our great country, Nigeria, from your time as governor of Borno State to Senator and now Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Sir, your commitment, steadfast leadership, dedication, and loyalty to this great nation are beyond measure and must be emulated by all. You are indeed an inspiration to every Nigerian.
“As an investment banker turned politician, I am inspired by your vision and the doggedness you have possessed throughout your impactful career. You are a mentor I continue to look up to for guidance in the political space and beyond.
