APC Chairmanship aspirant commends Tinubu over 16 Bills

Anambra state All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship aspirant, chief Ikechukwu C Anonye is thrilled about President Tinubu’s 16 bills for economic stabilization, passed by the Federal Executive Council on Monday.

In a statement to newsmen, he stated that, “these people-oriented bills, especially the suspension of taxes and levies on federal and state roads, small businesses, livestock, haulage, and markets, are expected to directly restore economic fortunes and empower vulnerable masses.

He further stated that President Tinubu’s administration is indeed considerate and mindful of the country’s difficulties, taking bold steps to address them.

“The economic agenda focuses on increasing revenue, reducing wastage, fighting corruption, and ensuring evidence-based governance.

“The goal is to drive economic growth, with projections indicating a 3.76% growth rate in 2024.

“Some key benefits of these bills include,tax relief which brings about reduced financial burden on small businesses and entrepreneurs,
economic empowerment, job creation and increased disposable income for vulnerable masses, simplified business operations, lower regulatory hurdles for small businesses and markets.

He opined that the Tinubu administration’s efforts demonstrate a commitment to getting Nigeria back on track.

“By addressing economic hardships and promoting growth, President Tinubu is working towards a brighter future for all Nigerians.

“Mr president needs our collective prayers, support and patience at this critical time of our national life as things can only get better”, he concludes.
