It was another day of honour as the House of Representatives on Tuesday suspended its plenary session in honour of the late Senator Ifeanyi Uba.
Uba who, until his death represented Anambra South Senatorial District in the Senate passed away in London on the 27th of July during the National Assembly’s annual long recess.
As is customary for the House to adjourn plenary in the event of the death of a serving member, the House suspended its first legislative session since the death of Senator Uba.
In his lifetime, Uba was a businessman, philanthropist, politician, media proprietor and sports promoter and he did a lot to empower youths.
The legislative session will resume on Wednesday.
