OCI Foundation honours NYSC invitation for its CDS Workshop

For the 2024 edition of the National Youth Service Corps, Community Development Service (CDS) stakeholders Workshop, OCI Foundation on Invitation, participated in the yearly event held on 3rd October at the National Secretariat of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) in Asokoro, Abuja.

The workshop, titled “Building Strategic Partnership for Impactful Community Development” is an annual formal engagement programme between the NYSC and its key partners that allows the sustenance of collaborations and strengthening of CDS activities for the over all development of communities in Nigeria.

The OCI Foundation is a registered partner with the NYSC, one of Africa’s largest youth organisations that enables Nigerian fresh graduates to undergo a compulsory one year service to the country.

The OCI Foundation’s delegation to the event was led by Dr. Abdullahi Alliyu Rufai, the organisation’s Networking Manager and permanent liaison to the NYSC.

Other members of the delegation include Mr. Luter Ikyobo and some team volunteers in Abuja involved in the activities of the OCI Foundation International, a Nigerian owned Australia based organisation with tentacles in the UK and Pacific Asia.
