Zaria, my birthplace and eternal haven, envelops me in an irresistible charm. This city of delight weaves a sensual, soothing balm that calms my soul. As Nigeria’s assemblage of learning, Zaria boasts an impressive array of educational institutions: military, police, research, and training institutes. The town’s vibrant academic atmosphere is palpable.
Upon entering the historic Zazzau Emirate, the refreshing harmattan breeze greets me, carrying the whispers of ancient traditions. Strolling through Dan Magaji’s bustling streets, I navigate the winding paths of Tukur Tukur, leading me to Zaria City’s vibrant heart. Tudun Wada’s eclectic mix of old and new architecture fascinates, while Gyallesu’s vibrant markets beckon. Agoro’s tranquil neighborhoods provide respite, giving way to Tudun Jukun’s lively energy.
The bustling PZ junction pulsates with life, adjacent to the affluent GRA’s stately mansions. Kwangila’s scenic routes unfold, leading to Muchia’s hidden gems. Finally, I find solace within the sprawling campus of Ahmadu Bello University, Samaru – Nigeria’s largest university north of the Sahara and south of the Limpopo.
