Omoragbon bags Icon of Climate Action in faraway Azerbaijan

In recognition of his tremendous efforts in Climate Change effect mitigation advocacy and engagements, Pastor Peters Osawaru Omoragbon, President and CEO of Nurses Across the Borders has been honoured as an Icon of Climate Action.

Omoragbon was honoured in faraway Azerbaijan at the ongoing United Nations Convention on Climate Change COP 29 BAKU.

Omoragbon who has done a lot for his nation and state, is known globally for his dedication, commitment and selflessness in the efforts to see a climate friendly world.

The award was presented to Pastor Omoragbon during a side event at COP 29 by the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Civic Engagements, Hon. Rex Anighoro.

In his response, Omoragbon said he dedicated the Award to God almighty. He said “I dedicate the award to God almighty who made it possible.”
