The death of Senator Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah, the Anambra South Senator, who also attained laudable heights as a successful business mogul who equally was an extra ordinarily philantropist at the age of 53 is just one aspect of fulfilment of nature,as destined for him by God Almighty, the creator.
The saying that not how long one lived matters,but what matters most is how well one lived, attests to the achievements of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and his contributions in the society and in all ramifications are the legacies that are living beyond him.
Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is known to have touched lives and established institutions that are impacting on the lives of human beings in every part of Nigeria he lived,before his demise.
In Enugu city, the capital of the defunct East central state and current capital of Enugu state,where he grew up, Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in his life time, found it worthy to give back to the environments that impacted on his upbfinging. For almost a decade now,he identified with the rigorous process of upgrading St.Patrick’s secondary school,Emene near Enugu,where he had his secondary education.
While he was the CEO/Managing Director of Capitol Oil ltd, Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah made frantic efforts to establish the first Fuel Tank site,along Emene express road to Abakaliki along PRODA junction.
The late Ifeanyi Ubah in his life time, extended his philantropy to Enugu Sports Club by donating plastic chairs which aids to the relaxation of the members,about a decade ago.
A few years back,Late Senator Patrick Ubah, single handedly bankrolled the hosting of a summit for the entire Igbo nation, held at Breeze hotel, Independence layout, Enugu.
His football club, FCIU united is always the second darling team of Enugu football fans,who always troup out in thousands to admire their fixtures with Enugu Rangers International,at Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium.
The Authority Newspaper established by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah also excelled into a national recognised daily with high points in the South East zone before the present economic crunch which is having a devastating effect in all national dailies in the country.
The National Executive Committee of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth wing, in a press statement said they received the sad news of Senator Ubah’s demise with a great shock.
The organisation said distinguished Senate Ifeanyichukwu Ubah was an outstanding personality and a first class business man who through his lifetime touched humanity in many positive ways.
In a statement made available to our correspondent by the Spokesman, Mazi Chika Art Adiele, he described Sen Uba as a champion of Youth inclusiveness and a patriot who’s charismatic personality changed the political paradigm in the red chamber.
The statement reads, “We recall his impactful contributions to our economy and his entrepreneural disposition through his numerous companies.
” As the founder of Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oils. Owner of the largest tank farm in Lagos Nigeria, he will be remembered as a philanthropist with an excellent spirit”, Ohanaeze Youths stated.
