A self sponsored group, Anambra Patriots for Soludo(APS) has expressed her preparedness to champion Gov Charles Soludo’s reelection campaigns.
The next Anambra gubernatorial polls has been fixed for November, 2025.
The chairman of APS, Chief Ejiamatu Damian stated this during their visit to the Special Adviser to Gov Charles Soludo on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu in his office at Government House, Awka.
Chief Damian said that APS is rooted for Gov Soludo’s reelection because of his unprecedented achievements in just few months in office.
He said as matter of fact that the group is serious about ensuring victory for Gov Soludo in the next Anambra State governorship election.
“We have concluded arrangements to have Gov Soludo’s achievements broadcast in four prominent Radio stations in the state as soon as INEC gives the go ahead order on campaigns.
“We are to let the Special Adviser to Mr Governor on Political Matters know that we want to be inculcated into the campaigns whenever it’s time for electioneering campaigns for the guber polls.
“APS is different from every other support group because we are fully prepared to finance the campaign for Gov Soludo’s reelection without asking for a dime.
“We have been propagating Gov Soludo’s reelection not minding the fact that the officials and members of APS are not mainly politicians. We have 21 coordinators in all the LGAs in Anambra and 326 officials in all the wards that constitute the state.
In his response, the Special Adviser to Gov Soludo on Political Matters, Dr Alex Obiogbolu applauded the uniqueness of APS which compromises of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) faithful stalwarts and stakeholders coming together with a strong voice about the performance of the governor.
Dr Obiogbolu said that Gov Soludo’s promises to Ndi-Anambra have been kept noting that the preparedness of the group to support his principal’s reelection is well appreciated.
“If we consider where Anambra State is coming from, we will discover that no one has outperformed the incumbent governor, 9 local government areas were under siege before Gov Soludo assumed office, today, there are pockets of insecurity in a few towns.
“It must be noted that insecurity is not peculiar to our state but one important thing is that there is hardly any place in Nigeria where men of the underworld are arrested like Anambra, we appreciate the security agencies for that,” he said.
The Special Adviser to Gov Soludo said with relish the huge road construction going simultaneously in every part of the state as second to none even as he thumbed up the governor on the 1 youth 2 skills project, Education, Health programs which are geared towards the betterment of Ndi-Anambra.
“Soludo Innovation District (SID), Digital Tribe initiative, 20 smart schools with full infrastructure, many communities in the state that have never experienced development since the creation of the state have been positively touched by Gov Soludo’s administration and so much more in just two and half years in office.
