AU appoints health specialist, Chiamaka, Agenda 2063 Ambassador

The African Union (AU) Agenda 2063, has appointed esteemed health and wellness expert, Elujoba Chiamaka, as an Ambassador for its Agenda 2063 initiative.

The appointment followed Elujoba Chiamaka’s outstanding contributions to promoting health in Africa.

Presenting the Award on behalf of the AU Agenda 2063, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mayorkings Charity Foundation, Ambassador Dr. Temisan O. Louis,
disclosed that Chiamaka, as a leading authority in her field, has empowered individuals, communities, and organisations with education and strategies for healthy living, disease prevention, and wellness.

Louis, who is also the Strategic Partner of the AU Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly, explained that the AU Agenda 2063 aims to drive Africa’s growth and development through seven aspirations, including a prosperous Africa, peaceful and secure Africa, and an Africa with good governance.

He added that as an Ambassador, Elujoba Chiamaka, would champion the initiative’s health and wellness objectives, collaborating with governments, civil society, and stakeholders to advocate for policies and programs that promote healthy living and disease prevention, management and reversal, with the use of our locally farmed herbs thereby encouraging Africa to return to mother land.

Responding, Elujoba Chiamaka said she is deeply humbled by the appointment, and also grateful the opportunity to serve Africa.

“As an Ambassador for AU Agenda 2063, I pledge to leverage my expertise and network to promote health and wellness, supporting Africa’s transformation and prosperity, ” she said.
