The newly elected Chairman of Karasuwa local government area council of Yobe State , Alhaji Umara Mohammed Bukarti has proposed to empower over 1,000 youths in his local government area .
He disclosed this to The Authority Newspaper during a chat with our correspondent in Damaturu,Yobe State.
The young and energetic chairman also spoke further on how he will empower youths in their various fields of endeavor.
” Areas of priority according to the chairman includes Health , Education, Security and water supply will be adequately provided to the benefit of all ” he said.
He called on the people of his community to give the needed cooperation in order to enable him delivere democracy dividend to their door steps .
According to him , all sons and daughters of the area will not be left out in running the affairs of the local government .
The chairman revealed that all uncompleted projects in the local government will be completed within the shortest time possible.
He also promised to revive the falling standard of education by providing a conducive atmosphere for learning .
Affordable water will be provided also to all the people of his domain in collaboration with the ministry of water resources , Rural and urban water supply Agency ( RUWASA) .
Alh . Umara Mohammed Bukarti assured his people of adequate security in the area in order to enable everyone go about his or her business without fear .
He praised Governor Mai-Mala Buni for giving them the ample opportunity to serve the people diligently without prejudice.
He also applauded the effort of Governor Mai-Mala Buni in delivering democratic dividend across the state .
