NAWOJ seeks partnership with NTA Abuja to amplify women’s voices

The Nigerian Association of Women Journalists(NAWOJ), FCT Chapter is seeking partnership with the NTA Channel 5, Abuja management to amplify women’s voices, particularly at the grassroots level, as they prepare for the upcoming International Women’s Day.

The FCT Chairperson, Bassey Ita Ikpang, made this request during a courtesy visit to the station.

The National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has consistently championed women’s rights, shedding light on critical issues affecting them and advocating for meaningful representation.

This visit to the NTA Channel 5 Abuja management aims to strengthen collaboration, amplifying women’s voices.

The Chairperson, also an NTA family member, seized the opportunity to express gratitude to the NTA Channel 5 management for their unwavering support during the elections.

General Manager of NTA Channel 5 Abuja, Paul Atte appreciated the visit and pledged continued support for NAWOJ, acknowledging the vital role women play in building homes, societies, and the nation.

The courtesy visit facilitated discussions on pressing issues, paving the way for amicable resolutions that promote unity and progress within the association.
