Kogi SDP Chairman Unveils Restructuring Plan for Party Executives

The Kogi State Social Democratic Party (SDP) Chairman, Hon Ahmed Attah, has unveiled a plan to restructure and reshuffle the party’s wards and local government executives.

This development comes after Attah led a discussion on the matter during the State Working Committee meeting held on March 24, 2025.

“We recognise that effective governance starts at the grassroots level, and our wards and local government areas are the backbone of our party’s presence across Kogi State,” Attah said.

The restructuring and reshuffling aim to achieve three key objectives: Enhance Administrative Efficiency, Foster Grassroots Representation, and Promote Inclusivity and Diversity.

“By streamlining our administrative processes, we can better serve our constituents. Ensuring every ward has a strong, representative voice in local government will amplify the needs and concerns of our people.

We also aim to encourage participation from all segments of society to build a more inclusive and vibrant party,” Attah explained.

Attah is committed to working closely with party members, stakeholders, and the people of Kogi State to ensure a smoother transition and a brighter future for all.

“As we move forward, I am excited to see the positive impact of our efforts and to continue working together to build a stronger, more resilient party,” he added.
