Worried by insensitivities of most people over privileged positions in life especially politicians, Barr. Success Obioma Akagburuonye (Akaraugo) has admonished Nigerians to be wary noting that natural justice demands that every opportunity offered to man to serve humanity is subject to accountability before God Almighty and men.
Akagburuonye who’s the founder and leader of Hope Rising For Imolites, a sociopolitical and non governmental organization said this on Friday when the leadership of Owerri Senatorial Zone Presidents of President Generals of the autonomous communities as led by Nze Jude Agbugba in collaboration with their zonal youth and women leaders held a well attended familiarization interactive meeting in the organization’s worldwide Secretariat headquarters, Ogbor Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
The Real Estate icon appreciated the community leaders especially for the strategic roles they play in sustenance of peace and stability, enjoining them that their labour of love will definitely be rewarded.
He gave them an insight over his life as a man born in the midst of mockery and abject poverty that made him to have covenant with God that if He prospers him, that he will use his wealth for overall services of God and humanity.
“This is why, you see me for over 30 years now, aggressively, unrepentantly and un-regrettably involved in philanthropy and charity, and to His glory, my God is faithful and just”.
Akagburuonye further informed them of his life battles as a successful Igbo man Real Estate guru in Abuja which brought pettiness, envy and jealousness especially from his friends, associates, detractors and the Federal Government in which his innocence has been overwhelmingly vindicated.
The legal luminary also expressed happiness that God made it possible for his ordeals to be historical reference points for the unjust stringent bail conditions often given to suspects, arrested and detained by Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, having spent 2 years and 2 months in fighting the course.
According to him,”one of my fundamental missions in life is to fulfill my convenate promise to God for Him to use me to be the sacrificial lamb for the betterment of Imo State. Leadership is not easy.It’s charismatic. It calls for accountability and sacrifices. It’s an ample opportunity to serve God and humanity, through sacrificial visionary and purposeful leadership”.
He lauded Governor Hope Uzodimma for his transformational governance especially in infrastructural development, while describing him as a rugged fighter with God’s grace even as he equally recalled how the Governor, judiciously fought two of his predecessors to a standstill and ensure that justice and fairness triumphed at last.
The reverred politician advised Nigerians to be mindful of un-objective and unconstructive criticisms against their leaders, noting that it’s God that gives power, and every leadership has a mission before God.
Earlier, Hon. Eddy Obinna who’s the team leader for Hope Rising For Imolites applauded the group for the visit noting them as critical stakeholders when it comes to mobilization and sensitization of the populace.
Obinna who described Akagburuonye as a divine grace to humanity, commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for being an ambassador of infrastructural development and firm believer in the State Charter of Equity adherence and implementation.
Responding, Hon. Jude Agbugba, the leader of the delegation commended Akagburuonye for his humility and philanthropical gestures while describing the group as foot soldiers of Owerri Senatorial Zone.
Agbugba further described Akagburuonye as a man with double enviable profession, an Engineer and a Lawyer assuring him of the group willingness to have a collaborative partnership towards his leadership mission.
Also speaking, Lolo Chidinma Oparaocha, the Owerri Zonal Women President Generals Leader expressed satisfactions with the speeches made by Akagburuonye noting him as a man of pedigree and antecedents.
Oparaocha advised the Chief Host to remain focused and resolute in his convenate with God assuring him of women support in all his endeavours.
