As Christians celebrate Easter, former Senate President Ahmad Lawan has called on Nigerians to reflect on the values that bind them together as a nation. In his Easter message, Lawan emphasized the importance of:
National unity; Overcoming divisions that threaten the country’s unity; Embracing diversity as a source of strength, rather than weakness; Focusing on shared objectives that unite Nigerians
Senator Ahmad therefore urged Nigerians to: Renew their commitment toward building a stronger, more united, and prosperous nation; Foster understanding and harmony among all ethnic and religious groups and; Work together to achieve common goals.
The former Senate President encouraged Nigerians to draw inspiration from the spirit of Easter, which embodies sacrifice, faith and hope.
By embracing these values, Lawan believes Nigerians can overcome their challenges and build a brighter future for all.
