The Markaz Takwa Islamic School has held its graduation ceremony on 27th April, 2025. The ceremony of the School which is located at Kogo Extension in Bwari Area Council, Abuja was well attended by well-wishers and dignitaries from all walks of life.
The Walimah saw the graduation of six Islamiyyah students who dedicated their over five years in the thorough, meticulous and successful study of the Holy Quran.
In his sermon, one of Imams of the Islamiyyah who guided the children through this giant feat, Imam Isiaka Muhammad As-Sakama, admonished parents to guide their children to Allah and emulate the teachings of prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) towards a better society.
He advised that it is only such that can guarantee an egalitarian society for all. He condemned parents who encouraged their wards towards quick and unmerited wealth in their tender age instead of giving them the foundation knowledge of the Holy Quran that will make them vast in knowledge for free, peaceful and accommodating society for all.
“If your children are abreast with the Quran and the Sunnah of our Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) our society will be devoid of social vices and other criminalities like kidnapping for ransom, ritual and all manner of killings and other fraudulent activities like yahoo and promiscuous life style” he stated.
In his speech, Barrister, Abdulraham Ahmad who is the Legal Adviser of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bwari Area Council, congratulated the six graduands in their giant strides and challenged other parents to turn the way of their children to the teachings of the Holy Prophet.
He thanked the Imams for their thorough and dedicated job of impacting the right knowledge of the Holy Quran to the young lads. He said that such training is the richest training that will remain in children and shape their life style forever. A visibly elated Abduharaman witnessed the graduation of his four kids- Aminat, Fawzan, Abdulsalam and Abdulsamad.
The climax of the ceremony was the recitation of different verses of the Holy Quran by graduands to the excitement of guests, audience and well-wishers as they were all issued their certificate of graduation.
