Deputy Senate President consoles with family of Aminu Dantata

The Deputy Senate President Barau I Jibrin, has condoled with the family and friends of Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a renowned elder statesman, industrialist, business mogul, and philanthropist, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 94.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau described Alhaji Dantata as a pillar of greatness, whose contributions to the development of Kano State, the northern region, and Nigeria as a whole will forever be remembered.

The late philanthropist spent his life serving humanity and worshipping Allah SWT. His business acumen, exemplary philanthropy, and interventions will continue to inspire generations to come. Alhaji Dantata was a symbol of integrity, and his role in the development of Kano State and Nigeria cannot be overemphasized.

Senator Barau extended his heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Dantata’s immediate family, the Kano business community, and the entire people of Kano State. He prayed that Allah SWT grant the deceased Aljannatul Firdausi and give his family and friends the strength to bear the loss.

“May Allah SWT rest Alhaji Aminu Dantata’s soul in eternal peace and comfort his loved ones during this difficult time,” prayed.
