Barau, Ganduje, others depart for Dantata’s burial in Madina

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator A Barau I Jibrin, and former APC National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and others have departed Abuja for Madina, Saudi Arabia, to attend the burial of elder statesman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.

The delegation, which departed Abuja around 9 p.m. on Monday, includes: Kano State APC Chairman, Prince Abdullahi Abbas; Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND, Senator Muntari Dandutse; Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Ali Madaki; Member of the House of Representatives, Makoda/Dambatta Federal Constituency, Eng Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari; Ahmad Munzali Dantata, son of Alhaji Aminu Dantata; Usman Yahaya Kansilaand and; Hon. Sani Bala.

Alhaji Aminu Dantata had been buried on Tuesday in Madina, Saudi Arabia. The delegation is expected to pay their last respects to the late elder statesman.
