Residents of Dan Hono II in Kaduna Millienuum city have blocked the busy Yar’adua road in Kaduna to protest over the increasing cases of kidnap I code ta in the area.
Our correspondent reports that men, women and children, all residents of came out in their number to protest the kidnap incident which took place at 12 midnight.
It was gathered that a woman and her children as well as the owner of one of the schools in the area were reportedly kidnapped during the midnight operation.
Residents say the midnight kidnap was the 11th incident in the community in two years.
Recall that about three weeks ago, a former cameraman of the African Independent Television (AIT) was kidnapped from his home within the community.
