The Army listed items candidates must present at the Selection Board venue, warning that failure to comply strictly with the guidelines could lead to disqualification.

Shortlisted candidates are expected to report with writing materials, four copies each of recent coloured passport photographs and full-size coloured photographs taken in a standing position while wearing a suit. The Army directed that each full-size photograph must have the candidate’s surname, first name, other names, date of birth, service number (for serving personnel only), and current unit (for serving personnel only) written at the back.

Other required items include scratch cards for online verification of WAEC and/or NECO results, three plain white short-sleeve vests, three pairs of blue shorts, one pair of canvas shoes or trainers, three pairs of white socks, a bucket and toiletries, a set of cutlery including plates and drinking cups, as well as beddings such as blankets, bedspreads, mosquito nets, and pillowcases.

The Nigerian Army reiterated that only candidates who comply fully with the instructions would be allowed to participate in the selection process.
