Governor Alia also thanked the heads of security agencies in the state and called on them to continue their good work, noting with gratitude, the recent rescue of the Utonkon 9 children as an example. He urged them to maintain the same spirit until the state is rid of all forms of insecurity.

He also implored the operatives to ensure adequate security for the workers contracted to construct the Nyihemba-Abande road, which is meant to ease movement and reduce response time in instances of distress calls.

The Governor, who stated that democracy remains the bedrock of any meaningful development, stirred the officers to deploy adequate security for the safe conduct of the upcoming APC congresses. He restated his commitment to good governance and encouraged all Benue sons and daughters to stand by him in the task of leading Benue out of the woods of underdevelopment.
