President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection bid has received a boost in Anambra State as an overwhelming backing has been pledged by the State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC).
President Tinubu’s endorsement came on the heels of the call by the ex-Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial zone, Emma Obiajulu Anosikefor at a stakeholders interactive meeting in Awka.
The party reiterated that the president’s anticipated reelection will strengthen the national economy, party unity and rebuilding its political structures.
At the meeting, the party State Chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike, disclosed that the party’s main goal was to mobilize members across the 21 Councils and 326 Wards of the state in political collaboration with the State-ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to achieved at least 95 per cent increase in votes for the President’s victory in 2027 presidential poll.
Ejidike admitted that the unanimous endorsement of Tinubu’s reelection bid was to ensure he returns in landslide victory.
“Anambra APC is very much happy because, the State governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo is equally supporting the reelection of Tinubu.
According to him, unity remains the foundation of any meaningful political progress, said: “No political strategy, no matter how transparent can succeed in an atmosphere of division. Our foremost responsibility is unity.
The ‘One APC, One Tinubu Project’ must be our guiding principle in Anambra State.
“Our grassroots structures must be vibrant, functional and connected to the people. Every ward, every unit and every community must feel the presence and impact of the APC led- government in Nigeria.
“This is how we will consolidate our gains and deliver an even more convincing victory for President Tinubu in the next election”.
He reiterated that the Anambra State APC is fully prepared to ensure that President Tinubu is re-elected in 2027
