The Abuja Branch of Nzuko Arochukwu Kingdom has endorsed the presidential aspiration of Labour Party candidate, Dr. Chibzor Okereke, while reaffirming its support for the administration of ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced on Sunday during a reception held at the Cyprian Ekwensi Arts and Culture Centre in Abuja, where Dr. Okereke was received by members of the association in his capacity as the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
Dr. Okereke, an indigene of Arochukwu Kingdom and holder of the traditional title of IKEMBA-ARO, conferred by , expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of Nzuko Aro for the reception, prayers and endorsement.
He also thanked Ndi Aro in Abuja and across the world for their continued support for Governor Otti’s administration, describing the Abia governor’s leadership as a model of accountable governance and development.
Speaking on behalf of the association, the President-General of Nzuko Aro Abuja Branch, Mazi Ogundu, alongside members of the executive committee, commended Dr. Okereke for what they described as his leadership qualities, philanthropy and contributions to social development.
The association said it had confidence in his “Nigerians First” vision and expressed belief that he possesses the capacity to provide purposeful leadership for the country if elected President in 2027.
During the event, respected elder statesman, , offered prayers for Dr. Okereke, seeking divine guidance, protection and success for his presidential campaign.
The gathering ended with members of Nzuko Aro Abuja Branch reaffirming their commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at promoting good governance, national unity and sustainable development.
