*Canvases votes for LP candidates

The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, arrived in Jos, Plateau state on Wednesday, to the warm embrace of jubilant Obidient supporters, reassuring them of his commitment to bequeath a new Nigeria.

Obi has been on thank-you-visits to some states to appreciate the people for their massive votes on  February 25 and to seek their support for the LP candidates in the forthcoming elections on March 18, 2023.

He told the tumultuous crowd of supporters who rushed to welcome him not to despair because of the INEC’s handling of the election, but to remain focused because a new Nigeria is still possible and is coming.

The former Anambra state Governor thanked the people for their massive support in the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections and urged them to return the same favour to all Obidient candidates, the Governorship, and the state Assembly on Saturday.

“I have just arrived in Jos to thank the obidients and urge them to come out en masse to support LP candidates. I use Patrick Dakum, our Governorship  Candidate in Plateau as my point of contact in wishing the state Assembly Candidates great success on the 18th Match.”

Obi expressed his commitment to reclaiming his stolen mandate as he told his cheering supporters “we remain committed to reclaiming our stolen mandate and turning our focus to a true nation building.

Also on Wednesday, Obi was in Lagos on a condolence visit at the home of Paul Adeolu Adefarasin, a Nigerian pastor and televangelist who is also the Prelate and Metropolitan Senior Pastor of the House on the Rock church who lost his mother recently.
