In a bold move to boost agricultural production and enhance food security, Kaduna State Governor, Distinguished Senator Uba Sani, is set to flag off the distribution of 15,000 metric tons of fertilizer to farmers across the 23 Local Governments of the State.

Others were complete sets of power tillers,
vegetable grinders, and Knapsack sprayers with PPE.
Governor Uba Sani has on various projects groundbreaking in the State restated his commitment to transforming the rural economies and ensuring farmers welfare.
Presiding over the latest distribution at Murtala Muhammad Square in Kaduna, the governor said it was meant to be a significant step towards empowering farmers and improving food production in Kaduna State.
“By providing this massive amount of fertilizer, the State Government hopes to increase crop yields, reduce the cost of food items, and enhance the livelihoods of farmers and their families”, said the Commissioner of Agriculture, Murtala Dabo.
According to experts, the latest intervention has the potential to transform the agricultural landscape in Kaduna State, making it a model for other states to follow.
The governor reminded the beneficiaries that with the distribution of fertilizer, farmers will be able to increase their productivity, meet the growing demand for food, and contribute to the State’s economic growth.
