Foursquare Church, Jakande Estate District, Lagos State has celebrated its 10thconvocation in grand style with the appointment of Mr. and Mrs. Ohi Akpengbe asthe Vice Chairman of the 11th District Convocation.
The district in Oke Afa, Isolo area of Lagos celebrated her 10th Convocationpenultimate Sunday, with the theme ‘Glorious Manifestations’.
The event which had in attendance heavyweights of the church was grand in itsentirety as the District Overseer, Rev. Dapo Longe pulled a big show of it.
National secretary of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, Rev & Rev. Mrs.Samson Alawode was guest minister and he gave a powerful sermon which reverberatedamong the faithful who converged at the ceremony.
Over the years, the district and the zones have experienced great turnaround, andGod has always been their great sustainer. Little wonder the 10th yearconvocation was a great manifestation in the lives of all worshipers of thechurch including loved ones and other invitees.
MD, crime watch Newspaper, Ohi Akpengbe, a notable member of the church has beennamed vice chairman of next year’s edition which also promises to be grand.
