NIDO to celebrate Nigerian Day in USA, promote culture, unity

Nigerians In Diaspora Organization (NIDO) is thrilled to announce the Nigerian Day Commemoration in far away city of Sacramento, Northern California in United States.

According to a statement from the leader of the organization, made available to journalists Monday, the Managing Director of CEKO Ventures & Associates LLC Gift Ibezim-Eze, said: “NIDO is dedicated to uniting Nigerians abroad, promoting Nigerian culture, and fostering cross-cultural understanding across the globe. Through events like Nigerian Day, we aim to build bridges and strengthen connections between Nigeria and the international community.”

She further informed that, the landmark cultural event will come up on 3rd May, 2025 in Sacramento, USA, adding that the event seeks to promote Nigeria’s rich culture, unity, and heritage in the United States.

“The Nigerian Day Commemoration will offer attendees an immersive experience of Nigeria’s vibrant culture through traditional music, dance, art, and cuisine, showcasing the diverse and colorful essence of Nigerian life. The event will attract a broad audience, including Nigerians, Americans, and people from various backgrounds, fostering meaningful cultural exchange and understanding,” she stated.

Emphasizing on the importance of sponsorship for the event, the statement added thus: ‘We are calling for financial sponsorship to ensure the success of this significant event. Sponsorship contributions will help cover event expenses and ensure that we create a high-quality experience for everyone involved.

“Importantly, proceeds from this event will go towards establishing a fully equipped Old People’s Home in Nigeria, with a special focus on providing Mental Health Services for the elderly.

Basic Sponsorship: $300 – $1,000, Standard Sponsorship: $1,000 – $3,000, Classic Sponsorship: $3,000 – $5,000, Premium Sponsorship: $5,000 – $10,000, Gold Premium Sponsorship: $10,000 – $15,000 and Platinum Sponsorship: $15,000 and above. Sponsorship options in Naira are also available for convenience.

It went on: “The Sponsorship will directly support logistics which includes, Venue rental, Artist fees and travel expenses, marketing and promotional activities and Cultural exhibits and interactive experiences.”
