…Focuses on crop production, sustainable yield
The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a large toll on economic activity in Sub-Saharan Africa, putting a decade of hard-won economic progress at risk.
With the uncertainty of the long-term economic impact of the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, a new economic analysis says the speed, quality and sustainability of Nigeria’s economic recovery will be determined by the effectiveness of its government’s response, especially within the agribusiness value chain.
Realising the importance of strategic approach to build capacity and improve Nigeria’s agricultural development, increase productivity and value, Natafamdavid Consulting Nigeria Limited in association with key partners within the agribusiness sector has concluded plans to host the much-needed agribusiness workshop starting from August 2021 through September 2021 starting with Laos session.
According to a press release by the Chief Operating Officer, Natafamdavid Consulting, Dr. Mrs. Orie Vann, the workshop will feature agribusiness experts drawn from various areas of the value chain focusing on crop production, farm management, logistics and operational management.
The workshop comes on the heels of series of agribusiness webinar conferences held in the past one year focusing on agribusiness in Nigeria through the pandemic era and the need to increase capacity and build sustainable strategy for growth.
The workshop will bring together professionals with diverse experience within the agribusiness value chain and will mentor participants, share ideas and strategies on best practices and profitable business.
