The Taraba state Federal Road Safety Corps Command, has commenced its ember months campaign to maintain speed and also free eye check for drivers.
Sequel to directive issued by the Corps to carry out 2021/2022 Ember month Campaign September which marks the beginning of Ember months,and Operation It is on this note that RS3.3 Taraba State Sector Command organized its 2021 Ember month public Education Campaign flag off with theme:” Maintain safe speed, avoid night travels and enjoy quality road experience’’
The occasion which commenced in Jalingo, saw in attendance, His Excellency the governor of Taraba State ably represented by the Director of Taraba State Board of internal Revenue- Mr Felix Manthy, the Corps Marshal’s representative- The Zonal Commanding Officer Zone 3 Yola(ACM- Osas Osadebamwen,, Service Chiefs, the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria immigration service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Medical teams from specialist hospital police clinic, Royal fathers Nurtw, Fleet operator stakeholders.
The keynote address by Zonal commanding Officer and welcome Sector Commanders. Address focused on theme , overloading and night travels, and maintaining safe speed.
Several Goodwill messages on different areas of traffic regulations were also delivered by the invited dignitaries and other Stakeholders present at the event.
In the process, a lecture was delivered by Dr.Angela on visual field effect on speeding (GOOD VISION) Free Medical text was carried ,vision Aquity text measurement blood pressure were carried out on drivers and motorist.
The official flag off was performed by the Representative of His Excellency with the Assistant Corps Marshal’s Sector Commander and other distinguished guests.
