As part of effort to support Federal Government’s fight against pipeline vandalism and oil theft, the Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria (NOGASA) has introduced anti-pipeline vandalism stickers and Suppliers Trust Waybill for its members.
The sticker with a ‘Say no to vandalism’ slogan encourages members to only buy their petroleum products from lincenced depots.
Speaking on the development, the National Public Relations Officer of NOGASA, Chief Ukadike Chinedu asked end users to demand for the waybill from their suppliers.
He said: “We are pleased to introduce the Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria (NOGASA) Supliers Waybill stickers for our members and critical stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to ensdure the authenticity of the source and supply and further deliver products to our numerous customers.
“We request that the end users demand for the trust waybill before receiving their product from any supplier. This is to complement efforts of the Federal Government and security agencies to eradicate pipeline vandalism and adulteration of petroleum products”, he added.
