Breaking: Jubilation Erupts in Kaduna as Uba Sani, Dangote Give Rice to Vulnerable Families

Kaduna erupted in jubilation on Thursday as Governor Uba Sani, in partnership with the Aliko Dangote Foundation, flagged off the distribution of 35,000 bags of rice to vulnerable residents across the state’s 23 local governments.

Represented by his Chief of Staff, Malam Sani Liman Kila, the Governor launched the initiative at Stonehedge Hotel, describing it as a bold step in the war against hunger and poverty.

The rice distribution is Kaduna’s share of the Dangote Foundation’s nationwide intervention — one million bags of rice being delivered to all 774 local government areas across Nigeria to cushion the harsh economic realities.

Beneficiaries, including women, the elderly, and people with disabilities, expressed deep gratitude, with many describing the gesture as a lifeline in difficult times.

Governor Uba Sani assured that the food palliative would reach only those who need it most, pledging transparency and fairness in the entire process.
