In efforts towards curtailling the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus code – named CONVID: 19, member representing Makurdi South in the Benue State House of Assembly Hon. Terwase Aondoakaa has distributed protective materials to members of his Constituency.
Benue State has so far recorded one CONVID: 19 case according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control.
Aondoakaa who won election on the platform of the people’s Democratic party (PDP) is also the house committee chairman on Agriculture and Natural Resources.
According to Terkimbir Ifan who is one of his aids ,the lawmaker was saddened by the loss of lives occasioned by the epidemic world over and hence his little efforts in seen that it had no devastating effect on his constituents.
He urged the people to keep to the protective rules of the pandemic so as to avoid it’s spread in the state.
He added that as a representative of the people, he will at all times thrive to identify with them most especially during trying moments such as these as resources at his disposal would permit.
He charged them to make good use of the materials to avoid been affected by the epidemic.
The AUTHORITY gathered that materials distributed included hand sanitizers and face masks, all in dozens.
It was further gathered that recepients, some of whom this medium spoke to expressed joy over the lawmaker’s timely intervention.
They said it will go a long way in curtailling the dreaded virus in the Constituency.
