A Non Governmental Organization Peace Advocacy Crusade has called for immediate medical examination of Mr. Umar Duhu over unfounded allegations of diversion of trailers of rice given as pallitive by Federal government to Adamawa state.
The spokesman of the group Dr. Gambo Yohanna,told journalists in Yola that the recent utterances coming from Duhu is clear that he needed serious attention before his condition get out of hand .
According to him for Duhu to alleged that 23 trailers of rice out fifty trailers according to him donated to Adamawa state by the federal government as palliatives for the corona virus war in country was diverted by the governor raised more questions on his mental sanity.
The group would have ignore Duhu because he is irrelevant both in his party the All Progressive Congress ( APC) and in the state ,but because we want those outside the state to understand the true situation, it has become necessary for the group to react to the irresponsible lies and local blackmail of Duhu against the governor.
” First we want to remind Duhu that losing elections should not become mental illness, he was rejected at the poll because his people know that he is unfit to represent them even in a community meeting not to talk of going to Abuja.
The group added that the allegations are not only baseless ,but it is the tears of a floating politicians like Duhu,”
Yohanna noted that before federal government assistance came, the governor gave N20 million naira as palliatives to tricycle operators ,this he said was to prove that the government has his people at heart.

Adding that well meaning sons and daughters are donating to their states and other states, sighting chief Emeka Offor, who recently donated a full trailer of medical equipment to Adamawa state., what is the contribution of Duhu to his state or even his local government,he asked.
Rather than contributing his quota to the state he decided to invest in unprofitable blackmail ” he said.
