Determined to ensure strict compliance with the state government’s directives for the closure of all land boundaries and halt to inter-state transportation, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Thursday evening carried out inspection to ascertain the level of compliance.
This was a follow up to the presidential directive on curfew across the country.
Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, in that regard, visited the Enugu-Abia boundary, along Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway, where he charged the security agencies on duty to brace up to the challenges and ensure strict compliance.
He also charged the Awgu Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Pedro Nwankwo and his security team to enforce total restrictions, in the overall public interest.
