Covid-19: Health Commissioner eulogises Kano residents for prayers while in isolation centre

Kano State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, has expressed gratitude to friends, well wishes and the entire residents of the state for their prayers while he was undergoing treatment for Covid-19 at the Isolation Centre.

The Commissioner gave the appreciation following his discharge from the isolation center after testing negative to Covid-19 twice as required by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) protocol.

Tsanyawa who was recently discharged along other 15 patients after recovering from the Covid-19, appreciated all who prayed and wished him quick recovery while on the sick bed.

According to a statement by the Information Officer of the Ministry of Health, Hadiza M. Namadi, “Dr. Tsanyawa, particularly thanked Allah for seeing him through this trying moment, members of the State Executive Council under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, members of the state Taskforce on Covid-19, management and staff of his ministry and its parastatals, friends, associates, relatives and other well-wishers.”

While applauding the commitments of Governor Ganduje in the fight against the pandemic in the state, Dr. Tsanyawa also commended the Taskforce members for their formidable and patriotic dedication to their assigned responsibilities while some members were in isolation.

The Commissioner, therefore, urged Kano residents to continue to adhere strictly to social distancing, regular hand washing, use of face mask, personal hygiene and report any suspicious case of Covid-19 to emergency call numbers for immediate response.
