Hon. Chukwuegbo felicitates with new PDP Execo in his constituency

The member Representing Enugu North and South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon.Ofor Chukwuegbo, has sent his warmest felicitations to the elected officers of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in his constituency, who were inaugurated recently.

In the message, he congratulated the new Exco members on their emergence, urging them to brace up to reposition the party to achieve more, shortly.

Prior to the inauguration, Hon.Chukwuegbo had made a personal donation of N100,000 each to the two LGA excos,and N20,000 to each of the 26 wards within the constituency to facilitate the inauguration exercise.

“I felicitate with you all following your successful inauguration recently as officers of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at both the local government and ward levels in our home constituency”, he said.

He stated that their elections and inauguration which was held without rancour, have reaffirmed that “we are all members of one big united family “.

He told them: “Now that you have all assumed your various offices within the Exco, I urge you all to get down to the real business of repositioning our great party, solidify the base, make it attractive to new members, and maintain our party’s pre- eminent position at the levels levels you superintend”.

Hon Chukwuegbo noted that ” piloting the affairs of a major political party like ours, at whatever level, is both a privilege and a challenge, and our members who saw fit for the various roles you are to play, expect nothing short of a united, committed, and exemplary leadership”.

He assured the new party officers that all those who hold the peoples mandate face similar pressure.

“We are in this together as servants of the people and mustn’t take things for granted, even for a moment”, he stressed.
