The Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, has expressed delight over the strict adherence to COVID-19 preventive guidelines by staff and students of Federal Science and Technical College, Orozo, Abuja.
The school, which is one of the 104 Federal Government Colleges (Unity Schools) in the country, opened its gate last week for exit classes to resume academic activities in preparation for national examinations that commence this month.
The minister, who visited the school to assess the level of compliance to the measures put in place to guard against the spread of COVID-19, commended the school for observing all the necessary procedures as directed by the Federal Ministry of Health.
“I am indeed delighted at what I saw at the Federal Science & Technical College, Orozo, Abuja, the strict adherence to the procedure as advised by the Federal Ministry of Health on COVID-19.
“I implore all stakeholders, parents/guardians and students to play their part in the scheme of things. We have to figure out a way to forge ahead as a nation. We evolve with our ideas and solutions just as the problems we face,” the minister said in a post on his Social Media (Facebook) page.
