By Augustine Aminu

A true administrator is known by certain qualities he manifests and displays passion for what he believes in. He instills diligence and confidence in the people he leads, exudes courage and vision in the system where he operates. He sets goals and ensures that they are achieved in record times.

It is an incontrovertible fact that the nation’s private and public service had suffered setbacks due to retrogressive bureaucracy, ineffectiveness, corruption and quite often, sheer incompetence and naivety.

However, there are few people in the system who are gradually changing the tides through diligence, professionalism, accountability, due process, patriotism and making concerted efforts at making sure that the Nigerian system operates at par with the global best practice.

Chief Hon. Jim Okolo, Chimezie, the founder and Managing Director of Jimez Petroleum Resources whose thorough handling of administrative matters remains unparalleled, is always focused in service delivery. This has led to his excellent handling businesses and achievement of needed results in various responsibilities he has undertaken in both private and public service.

Okolo’s ability to think and act strategically in difficult situations, his swift response to issues, stoicism and prowess in building new partnerships of functional systems coupled with his ability and passion to develop and communicate strategic visions in a work place distinguish him from other administrators especially in this digital age.

Just recently, the young and vibrant Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, oil magnate and politician was honoured and conferred with the Ambassadorial Award of Excellence for his earnest contribution towards improvements of Nigeria, especially in areas of empowerment and provisional opportunities for Nigerians both here at home and abroad

During the occasion, the United Business Women Association described Hon. Jim Okolo as a man of integrity, great valour, widespread connections and a gentle man in all ramifications, a goal getter and a political bulldozer.

Again, the PAN African Leadership Symposium and Honours recently released selected Nominees of its forthcoming 100 Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadorial Honour, which Chief Hon. Jim Okolo Chimezie was nominated for a Honourary Doctorate as Humanitarian Ambassador of Peace.

As a man who believes in Nigeria, Jim Okolo’s Garment Factory remains one of the most standard garment factories in Nigeria and is well equipped to provided all the necessary military garments required by all the indigenous paramilitary agencies in Nigeria.

When a deligation from the from Federal Fire Service led by its Controller General, Dr. Liman Ibrahim and the DCG Procurement of FFS, DCG Agu Calistus visited, the factory got high commendation from the CG and his team members.

The Nigeria Police was not also left out as a recent deligation from Force Headquarters paid an inspection visit to the multifunctional Garment Factory. Led by CP Olatunji Akingbola and other Personnels of the Nigeria Police. Olatunji expressed satisfaction.

Chief Hon. Jim Okolo Chimezie can be described as a digital entrepreneur with passion for the development of the Nigerian economy. He has empowered many youth through job creation and training. He has been and is still a relevant participant in dynamic and challenging work environment and can contribute meaningfully in achieving organizational goals anchored towards personal growth and career advancement.

Chief Hon. Jim Okolo Chimezie is indeed a patriotic citizen, a detribalized leader par excellence who deserves a national honour for his contribution to the development of the Nigerian economy.
