Abe, in a condolence message over the weekend signed by his spokesperson, Parry Saroh Benson, described the news of the untimely demise of the late Senator Aisha Alhassan as very sad and painful.

He said: “Aisha Alhassan was a great Lady, trailblazer who distinguished herself both as a Lawyer, Politician, Entrepreneur, and more.

“She was generous, giving freely of her time and resources always ready to lend a helping hand and turn a listening ear.

“Aisha would be missed by her colleagues, family, and friends. In every sense, she was a great Nigerian indeed.

“We would always remember her with fondness and great affection, may Almighty God grant her rest and give her family the strength to bear this great loss”.

Senator Aisha Alhassan, represented Taraba North Senatorial District of Taraba State, Nigeria, which she won under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), between 2011-2015.
