As political activities hot up in Anambra State sequel to the lifting of campaigns and also emergence of the various party flag-bearers in the forthcoming November Governorship Election in the state, no stone needed to be left on turned by each party in the quest to ensure absolute success.
Indeed as a party, with the coast being clear for the Distinguished Senator Andy Uba, the only and ultimate flag bearer for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Anambra State Election, it is time for chieftains of the party to work doggedly and indefatigably to get stakeholders, group leaders and leaders of thought to get their acts together by reaching the grassroots and work for the victory of their principal, Senator Andy Uba.
No wonder Chief Modestus Umenzekwe, a Chieftain of the All Progress Congress (APC) recently hosted stakeholders, leaders of thought and other political groups leaders in Aguata Local Government of Anambra State.
The high profile political gathering which took place in Achina precisely in Umenzekwe’s compound recently, was a congregation of crème de la crème in political firmament in Aguata.
Addressing the forum, Chief Modestus (Onwa Achina) thanked and welcomed all those that turned out for the meeting.
He also thanked them for their immense support so far and made it clear that Sen. Andy Uba, the Governorship candidate for APC in the November Governorship Election in Anambra remains the only candidate that has been adopted by Ndi- Aguata because of his requisite capacity, connections and undoubted personality to bring the needed change into Aguata and Anambra State as a whole.

He further emphasised that though all candidates who contested governorship ticket under their various parties are good, yet Sen. Andy Uba’s choice as APC candidate at this point in time is indeed a blessing most especially for Anambra State and beyond.
Professor Orajiaka, the Group Patron, as a father encouraged the group for the effort and stressed on the people to support Sen. Andy Uba and that with his knowledge of him and his achievements “we will not regret we deed. And that through him a lot of development will come into Anambra State, O.A. U and Aguata.”
In his bravely sagacity, Agbalanze Umuchu spoke on the need for people to consistently coming together for this project and that the door is open for every like-mind who want to join the group to make history together. He also appreciated the idea of the movement and urged for the meeting to continue as time is of essence.
Uga na Uga in his dove-like nature, thanked everyone that came that the good Lord will bless them. He also stressed on the need to utilise the opportunity of INEC voter’s card registration to mobilize people in thousands to register because that is the only way they can vote in Sen. Andy Uba.
He also assured them that His Excellency, the two times Senator and former Governor of Anambra State appreciates their efforts and that in no distant time they will be with him and discuss more on how to move forward.
Speakers upon speakers took turn to commend the group for all efforts put in place in pursuance to this noble course and pledge their unalloyed support for the project.
New plans, ideas and strategies were initiated and articulated, ready to be set up in motion as soon as their meeting with His Excellency, Sen. Andy Uba is convened.
