RCCG Hosts Global Leadership Summit

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Niger Province 2, Suleja, over the weekend hosted the Global Leadership Summit (GLS); a worldwide movement seeking to improve leadership skills and practices. The GLS is organized annually by the Global Leadership Network and watched virtually in over twenty countries.

The 2021/2022 edition of the summit focused on proactive leadership in unstable times, leadership and emotional durability, self-development, leadership persistent and risk taking. The sessions were handled by renowned speakers like A.R Bernard, Shola Richards, Albert Tate, and our own Mrs. Ibukun Awosika. Others include Dr. Henry Cloud, Michelle Poler, Richard Montanez and Juliet Funt.

The Global Leadership Network has Tom De Wires as its President/CEO while Rev. Francis Olubambi serves as the Regional Director, West and Central Africa.
The centre facilitator, who is also the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG Niger Province 2, Pastor Sam Ola Babalola welcomed all participants to the summit assuring them of a great time at the summit. He said RCCG Niger Province 2 is privileged to host the summit again this year after the one held last year. He urged the over 200 participants who were mostly ministers and workers in the province, to take advantage of the programme and improve in their leadership skills. The summit was highly interactive with sessions that afforded the participants time to make contributions after each speaker.

Certificates of participation were presented to each participant by the centre coordinator, Pastor Babalola. He reminded them that the certificate of the GLS is globally recognized and can serve as an added advantage in their job search. Some of the participants expressed joy and satisfaction with the quality of the summit and promised to apply all they have learnt to improve their ministries and businesses.
