CUSTECH play host to ANUPA team on a visit to felicitate with the Registrar
The Management Staff of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara today played host to the visiting officials of Association of Nigerian Universities Professional Administrators (ANUPA), University of Ilorin Chapter at the office of the Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku.
According to a release by the Public Relations Unit of CUSTECH,
Osara, the body paid the all important visit to felicitate with one of their own serving as the Registrar of CUSTECH, Osara, Olufunke Hudson.
Other Management Staff who joined the Vice Chancellor to host the ANUPA Team were: Mr. John Alaji the Bursar and Mr. Salifu Jeremiah the University Librarian.
Speaking on behalf of the ANUPA Team from the University of Ilorin Chapter, Mr. Ishaq A. Abdulsalam said, “we have come to felicitate with one of our own, Ma. Olufunke Hudson who was made the Registrar of CUSTECH, Osara a year ago and also to familiarize with CUSTECH, Osara as an institution of higher learning.”
Other members of the team who journeyed down from Ilorin included: Mr. Moses Opaleke, Mr. Oyedepo O.J., Mr. Atanlogun B.O., Mr. Babalola M.O., Mrs. Adeta-Babamale Rasheedat and Mrs. Nnaji Elizabeth O.
The Vice Chancellor of CUSTECH, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku while giving his remarks said, “I was happy and eagerly waiting when I heard that the ANUPA Team will be visiting CUSTECH from the University of Ilorin.”
He added that, “I am so much impressed to be working with the Registrar in person of Ma. Olufunke Hudson as she is a woman who knows her onions and always ready to give out her best for the betterment of CUSTECH.”
Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku also narrated to all those who were present how he was posted to serve as a youth corp member at University of Ilorin in 1980. He said he applied to be a Graduate Assistant Lecturer but at the end of the day he was rather employed as an Assistant Lecturer at University of Ilorin.
Mr. Moses Opaleke, a member of ANUPA Team, University of Ilorin Chapter gave the vote of thanks. He was grateful to the Vice Chancellor, a man he described as “a good person taking care of their sister working with him as a Registrar.” He described Ma. Olufunke Hudson as “a woman who talks less but full of action.” He also added that should CUSTECH be needing the help of ANUPA any time, they will be on ground to render such help without hesitation.
The Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku gifted the ANUPA Team souvenirs made on behalf of CUSTECH. A group photograph was taken immediately after the official visit.
