The Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service, Technical and Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) has presented an award of excellence to the Director General/Chief Executive of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Sir Joseph Ari, for his commitment to staff welfare and dedication to the improvement of working conditions of the ITF workforce.
The President of the Union, Comrade, Benjamin Anthony, also cited the training of thousands of Nigerians by the ITF under the leadership of Sir Ari as another reason he was considered for the award.
While reacting to the award on behalf of the Director General of the ITF, the Director of Administration and Human Resource Department, Mr. Tajudeen Ishola, expressed his gratitude to the union for finding the DG worthy of such recognition and dedicated the award to the hardworking staff of the ITF for aligning with the vision of the ITF management and working towards the realization of the corporate goals of the Fund.
He pledged to continue to operate with open door policy and ensure vibrant unionism in the system, as according to him, an organisation that is unionized is more likely to achieve it’s corporate goals than one that is not.
