The Global Peace Movement International, UK has announced its intention to embark on a campaign to sensitize people back home especially as it concerns security.
The advocacy campaign titled “Talk To Our People Back Home tour” will be led by GPMI President General, Dr. Mike Uyi to deferent countries including UK, America, Italy, Germany, France among others.
In a statement in London on Friday, Uyi said the tour will commence from
15 May, 2022 and will be seeking suggestions from Nigerians living in these countries on how to save Nigeria from the hands of those who want to destroy it.
The statement reads in part: “It is evidently clear that Nigerians living in different countries of the world that are sustaining Nigerians back home. We have come to terms that Nigeria needs to be wrestled out of the hands of it’s enemies.
“There are lots of challenges in Nigeria today that needs proactive measures that will reposition the country and return it to its glory.
“GPMI considers blaming the current leadership of the Army as a way of demoralizing them. They are not supper human as the solution to ending security challenges lies in our hands as citizens”.
“During the tour to these different countries, GPMI will engage Nigerians in these countries on the need for total support for the Nigerian Army”.
“The Army as an institution has sacrificed so much for Nigeria to remain peaceful and such much support must be given to them to succeed in their various operations in the country”
