A House of Representatives aspirant for Hadejia, Kafin Hausa and Auyo federal Constituency of Jigawa, Alhaji batta Heddeja, has assured that he will improve on the well-beingof his constituents, if elected as the constituency’s next representative in 2023.
He said this at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat on Thursday in Abuja after picking the party’s Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest the position in the coming 2023 general elections.
The aspirant also promised to ensure adequate representative for the people of the constituency if elected.
“I am running because my people needs to be properly represented and I feel I have the capability and capacity to represent them,” he said.
Hadejia who contested the position in 2015 and lost, said he would not only represent the people of the constituency, but the entire Jigawa and the country generally.
According to him, the APC has the strength to win Jigawa in the coming elections because the state chapter is united.
He expressed confidence that he would emerged victorious in the election with the support of the people if the election was free and fair.
Hadejia said with his capacity and connections, he would be able to improve the well-being of the people of the constituency.
“I am not afraid of anybody, I just want a free and fair election because I know am going to win.
“My constituency really needs farming implements as they have been left to there faith for long, if elected, I will give priority to education to grow the economy of the people,” he said.
He added that he would ensure that youths in the constituency enrolled in technical education to acquire skills, not necessarily going through a university where they may not get a job after graduation.
On the numbers of bills he would sponsor in the house if elected, he said it was not about sponsoring bills.
“It is not all about the number of bills to sponsor, but making sure you sponsor and support bills that will bring growth to Nigeria.
“Many people have sponsored many bills that have not been implemented,” he said.
