Former governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Abdulaiz Yari Abubakar has again, disclosed that the reconciliation between his faction and that of the incumbent governor has come to stay, and thus, called on the people of the state to embrace it as it is aimed at finding a lasting solution to the present insecurity which the state found its self today.
He also urged all and sundry particularly the supporters of the ruling APC to continue to remain united and their brothers keepers as according to him without unity among the people nothing tangible can be achieved in any society.
Yari made the disclosure in Talata Mafara, his country home at the occasion of flagging off of his senatorial campaign admits thousand of his supporters and well wishers who converged at the mini stadium to grace the occasion.
he explained that the misunderstanding between him and the governor of the state was only political and now that they have resolved it, there is no A or B as far as politics is concerned.
according to Yari the essence of democracy anywhere in the world is development and not crisis as witnessed in almost all part of the globe and which in many occasions result into chaos and destruction of both government and individual properties. said he,” i am therefore calling on all of us to always exhibit maturity in whatever we are supposed to do. i also would like to use this opportunity to call on the entire people of our dear state to continue to pray to God the Almighty to intervene in the present insensitive situation bedeviling the state for over a decade today so that we can have peace and peaceful atmosphere, as well as for the state to regain its lost glory of being the most peaceful one in the whole federation.
Speaking further, yari called on the electorate to ensure they cast their vote for TInibu as president and all other elective seats under the ruling APC, adding that, “this is what will give us the courage to give a positive leadership to the people who suffered and sacrificed their time and lives to give us their mandate.”
