With few days to the 2023 general elections in the country, a national assembly member from Zamfara state, Kabiru Mai has challenged the governor of the state to show or explain to the people what he did to them in terms of developmental project that will warrant the actualization of his second bid.
Alhaji Kabiru Mai palace a member representing Gusau/Tsafe Federal constituency threw the challenge at a forum in Gusau, the capital of the state when he addressed hundreds of his supporters with regard to the forthcoming general elections.
Maia palace explained that as the first tenure of the incumbent governor is winding up, and throughout the almost 44 months the governor stayed in office there is nothing to write home about.
According to him, apart from indiscriminate appointment, which he also described as useless as far as the state is concerned, there is no single project that has implicated the lives of the people across the state.
He also stated that the entire system has been only selfish, adding that the governor has only succeeded in destroying the future of the youths in the state. Said he, “he only succeeded again in the demotion of important existing structures of the state amonbg which was the king fahad women and children hospital, farida general hospital and Gusau hotel among others’, trhe member revealed.
Commenting further, mai palace regrettably explained that even the cargo airport he asserted to construct has for long been abandoned, including the stadium he promised to do of Olympic standard has also become a history.
He therefore called on all the eligible voters in the state to think twice and go for the PDP, a party that will give the state a wonderful transformation.

Arrangement have been concluded for the successful flagging –off of the gubernatorial campaign in Zamfara, The publicity sub-committee chairman of the state campaign organization, Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki has stated.
Dan Maliki stated this at a press conference in respect of the flagging off of the campaign officially in Gusau capital of the state during the week.
According to the chairman, All Machineries have been put in place toward ensuring the success of the ruling APC come 2023 general elections in the country.
He explained that APC, a party that has been ruling the state right from the return of democracy in 1999 to date will still clinch the throne God’s grace.
The chairman expressed optimism that the ruling APC will continue to rule the state no matter how many political parties are there, adding that they have the hope of defeating any party that will contest along side APC.
“if you could recall, zamfara has never been ruled by any political party right from the day democracy returned in this our country in 1999. It started as APP, ANPP and now APC.
Even Mamuda was not elected under PDP and now Bello Matawallen maradun. Mamuda defected from them then ANPP for PDP after he was elected under the umbrella of ANPP, so also matawalle, so, without any doubt, I believe even now this time around we will come out victoriously”, he explained.
