Grassroot Support For Onwuegbu Gathers Momentum.

Amidst the credible challenge posed the candidates of other political parties in the tussle to take after Hon Toby Okechukwu, as the next legislator of Aninri/Awgu/Oji River federal constiuency, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Engr (Dr) Anayo Onwuegbu is gradually winning the hearts of the electorates in the constituency with unique campaign initiatives that have direct impact on the lives of the rural dwellers.
Checks revealed that the technocrat politician who is the chairman/Managing Director of Anbeez Services Ltd, deployed several earth moving equipments of his company to grade many rural roads in several communities within Aninri,Awgu and Oji River local government areas, collectively referred as ‘Greater Awgu’ axis of Enugu state.
It was gathered that some of the rural roads, for instance, the ‘Ehuhe Achi’ community rural road was in thorough state of decay and poses danger to vehicular movement into the community. But moved with passion on the pains the menace constitutes to the rural dwellers and those who will be returning home for the 2022 Christmas and New year holidays, Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu mobilised his construction engineers to grade and expand the Ehuhe Achi community rural road. To an extent,Visitors and indigenes of Ehuhe Achi especially those who returned for the yuletide celebration can now access their community easily with vehicles.
Engr Onwuegbu who is popularly known by his traditional title ‘OMEIHEUKWU’ extended similar gesture to ‘Enugwu Akwu-Achi community and also graded ‘Okpuno_Oruchi Ahani Achi rural roads, both in Oji River local government area, within the past one month.
At the same pace,Earth moving equipments belonging to ANBEEZ Services ltd, owned by Engr Anayo Onwuegbu are currently rendering similar gestures in some communiies within Aninri and Awgu local government areas that collectively formed Aninri/Awgu/Oji River federal constituency.
Some of the constituents interviewed, irresoective of their own party of affiliation ,expressed their solidarity for Engr Dr Anayo Onwuegbu as the best fit to consolidate socio infrastructural development of Greater Awgu rural communities, after Hon Toby Okechukwu,based on his experience,wherewithals and exposure.
Speaking while commissioning solar energy project of OKPUNO AHANI ACHI clan executed through community effort, Engr Dr Onwuegbu assured that he will ensure upliftment of social amenities becomes one cardinal objective of his representation, through constituency projects.
He expressed shock at the rate of degradation which soil erosion effected by the construction of the Achi to Oji River federal road,negstively impacted on parts of one of the rural roads within the community and assured of taking prompt action to remedy the situation.
The electorates of Ahani Achi community, just as other communities assured Onwuegbu of their maximum support to his political ambition.
