Mysterious fire has gutted the Bompai headquarters of Kano State police Command.
Though the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa could not pick his calls as at the time of filling this report, an impeccable source confirmed the fire outbreak, which razed offices at the top floor, including the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) office.
The source said the fire-fighters took over two hours to answer to the distress call, as the fire spread razing down high-profile offices, including the Finance Office.
The office of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Mamman Dauda, was not touched by the fire, the source said.
